Air marshals

It's not that they stand out like shampooed show dogs among the pound pups. It's not even that "air marshals must show up in jackets and ties, hair cut short, bodies buffed, shoes shined," but that they do so while wearing cheap shoes. Seriously. The "normal" people who wear ties in FC are either wearing completely grubby shoes, or, if they're polished, they're at least a pair of cheapie ferragamo loafers. (Let's not get into the futility of wearing loafers with a suit.) I'll happily give them this pair of Bruno Maglis I can't wear because they set off the metal detectors, size 9.5M, and I guarantee they won't be spotted as air marshals. Of course, it also doesn't help that of the sixteen people in FC on my flights out of/in to DCA, eight of us are on the same flights every Monday and Thursday. Post new comment |
