I've been slack in updating the public blog lately, but seeing this offense gave me no choice but to post an update.

See, that's a coffee ring.

On a toilet paper dispenser.

Now, you might hear those things and not think,"Eww, gross," but listen.

What's a coffee ring? It's a mark left on a flat surface, usually a counter or a table, by a sloppy cuppa joe with coffee clinging to the bottom. It's a very clear sign of where a cup of coffee was left, and left by a sloppy, disgusting, slob, who can't be bothered to a) wipe off the bottom of his cup after spilling coffee all over while pouring, or b) wipe off the surface befouled with his slop.

That's pretty bad, but hey, I've seen hello.jpg, so a little coffee ring can't be that gross, right?

You might not know this, but toilet paper dispensers are usually found next to toilets. In fact, when they're not, they're pretty much useless. They're also usually only found in public restrooms, because the rest of us make do with a roll of TP on a hook, hanger, or other holder in our homes.

This picture provides evidence that some complete reprobate took his coffee in with him to take a crap, in the office, and didn't think it was at all inappropriate, unhealthy, or nauseating. I suspect this mark was left in the morning, possibly with the first cup of the day. I shudder to think of this slob taking his sandwich in with him for a bit of a nosh with his splosh.

It's disgusting enough when you slobs don't wash your hands after peeing, at least keep your food on the shelf outside the bathroom, the shelf put there for precisely that purpose.
