Tattoo you

I saw this chap while waiting outside Disney's California Adventure1 and flagged myself as a geek by recognising it as a Star Trek tattoo. Fortunately, I misidentified it as a "Romulan" logo instead of a "Klingon" logo, but that's really beside my point, which is this: WHAT THE HELL KIND OF GOMER GETS A FICTIONAL LOGO FROM A TV SHOW TATTOOED ON HIS LEG? Now, I'm definitely living in a glass house when it comes to stupid-ass tattoos, and I freely acknowledge that. If not for the fact that I was a p-whipped wussball up to the point when I hit 20 or 21, I wouldn't have a couple really stupid tats today. "I want to get a tattoo, but I don't want to get one by myself, will you come with me?" was a lesson I had to learn TWICE! The only thing I can say is that I didn't break one of the three rules of tattoos: I did not get a girlfriend's name (or two girlfriends' names) tattooed on my body at any time, and I never even considered doing so. However, I did break two of the other major tattoo rules. BUT NEVER, EVER, DID I CONSIDER PUTTING A STAR TREK TATTOO ANYWHERE ON MY BODY. OR STAR WARS. OR STRAWBERRY FUGGIN SHORTCAKE, FOR THAT MATTER. Although that last one is getting pretty close to home, so I'm going to shut up now. 1. So the main gates for this place, a secondary attraction across from Disneyland, open at 9:30am. However, the park itself doesn't open until 10am, so we sat there FOR THIRTY MINUTES OF MY LIFE OMFG and watched this poor old geezer try to keep people from running down the walkway to the slightly-scarier-than-Disneyland-but-not-as-scary-as-Knott's rides. login to post comments

Hey, in the world of Trekdom, if you don't know your logos, don't guess. It is better just saying hey, isn't that from "Star Trek". And if you blurted out that this was a Romulan logo, you are far from being a geek. A true geek would know that this is Klingon. BTW, I am getting a Klingon Logo tattooed on my back. It is cool.
